Original Hamburger Works

At Hamburger Works, I've tried the burgers, chicken, and several sides. This time, I chose a hot dog topped with grilled onions. I wasn't surprised to see it on a HAMBURGER bun. It was perfectly grilled with a ton of flavor. Luis and Jose are true grill masters. Their fried mushrooms are my new goto side also. The place was hopping at lunch, and I still only waited 10 minutes for my meal.

Hamburger Works delivers, as always! I've sampled their burgers, chicken, and sides before, but this time I went for a hot dog with grilled onions. Of course, it came on their signature hamburger bun, and it was grilled to perfection with amazing flavor. Luis and Jose are definitely experts on the grill. I also discovered their fried mushrooms, which are now my absolute favorite side. Even though the place was packed at lunchtime, my food was ready in just ten minutes.

Good food, good fries, interesting to look around. Very slow at lunch, go off peak. Nice patio outside.

Really solid burgers and fries. Nice selection of toppings. Prices are reasonable (4% is added for credit/debit cards). Atmosphere is Americana themed and the mesquite smoked grill adds a nice scent!

Saw this place on tik tok and had to try it. You won't be disappointed kinda hard when you are building the burger yourself at the condiment bar.

This place is and always has been great! Even after all these years, it maintains it's quality, service and atmosphere! Great place for families and to take out of town visitors for a taste of 'old' Phoenix. The food tastes fantastic and the prices are very affordable. Service and staff are awesome. I witnessed different staff members checking the fresh condiment bar approximately every four minutes! Great attention to detail, filling items getting low, adding more napkins and constantly keeping a watchful eye on it! Amazing to see people take such pride and care these days!!! This is a great atmosphere and the food tastes like a backyard BBQ, not some processed nonsense from a chain-restaurant. Highly recommended (as always!)!!!

Adah was such a pleasure OMG. Funny, witty, and all around helpful. Went next door for dessert. Smelled it , left, came back an hour later because the smell was so delicious. We had to come back. Oh my God it was a good call. The fixings bar is very nostalgic. Got a little bit of everything to put on a burger. They have blue cheese but only dressing which we found out lol. But the bacon and that half pound burger. I look like I'm pregnant right now because it was so good. Loaded up with lettuce, tomato, red onion, some ketchup and mayo. Waffle fries on the side, I'm Homer drooling. Swapped the blue cheese for ranch for the fries and everything was perfect. Definitely coming back. That was one of the best burgers I've ever had. My Mom had a restaurant too so that's saying a lot. They also have red cream soda. Winner winner chicken dinner!!!!.
